Ø Purpose of Position     

-    The job incumbent is responsible for performing of Petroleum / liquid products survey and inspection of vessel&comma receiving terminal at Chittagong mostly. He may also require to conducts operations at Dhaka&comma Khulna when require. The Surveyor usually carries out some tasks independently&comma discharge supervision&comma sampling of liquid products etc.
-    The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System&comma including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.

Ø Major Responsibilities

-    Third Party Inspection services of Petroleum / liquid products at Vessel as well shore tank terminal with quantity calculation.
-    Drawing of samples from the vessel as well shore tanks as per requirement 
-    Continuous monitoring / discharge supervision of the vessel 
-    Follow BV TQR and HSE Requirements.
-    Liaison / good communication with terminal representative for vessel operations 
-    Preparation of field report with SOF against the jobs 

Ø Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)

-    Petroleum / liquid products operations
-    Cost control
-    Maintain SOP and HSE
-    Compliance of internal and external guidelines&comma policies&comma procedures.
-    Avoid conflict of interest  

Ø Qualification and Experience

-    B. Sc. in Hons (Science) / Chemistry with with minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience. 

Ø  Skills& Qualities:

-    Excellent interpersonal skills. 
-    An intrinsic Task Master. 
-    Should have good leadership abilities and skills.
-    Should have a pleasing personality
-    Good communication and presentation skills. 
-    Proficient in MS office 
-    Self-starter
