Bureau Veritas Angola, a leading service provider in the Oil & Gas sector, reporting to District Sales Manager, Central Africa. The position is based in Angola.

In this position the person is responsible of the Sales Analyst will be responsible for compiling a critical role in supporting the commercial and sales teams through detailed performance analysis and insights-driven decision-making. You will evaluate key sales KPIs, analyze market trends, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance business performance.  MI

MINUMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Minimum of 3- 5 years job related experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other business intelligence tools.
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with a good understanding of trade investment,
  • sales performance metrics, and commercial activity planning.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

Accountabilities:

Sales performance Analysis:

  • Conduct an in-depth analysis of the Sales Force performance, focusing on KPIs such as distribution, visibility, frequency, and sales results. Provide insights and prioritize corrective actions to optimize performance.

Commercial Activity Proposals:

  • Identify market gaps, risks, and opportunities, and propose commercial activities to capitalize on potential growth areas.

Incentive Planning:

  • Develop and present cycle Incentive Proposals (IMPIs) to the Sales departments, leading the approval process at the Incentives Steering Committee.

Trade Investment Evaluation:

  • Assess the effectiveness of trade investments across various channels, customers, and territories, providing recommendations to guide investment allocation and maximize ROI.

Customer Meetings & Presentations:

  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations for key customer meetings, offering insights to drive strategic discussions.

Segment Analysis:

  • Conduct Trade Segment Analysis, segmenting points of sale (PoS) and classifying retail outlets. Propose allocations to sales territories and representatives, supported by coverage and frequency analysis.

Data-Driven Support:

  • Ensure that Commercial Teams can access accurate and timely information through appropriate tools to facilitate their daily operations.

Ad-hoc Analysis:

  • Provide proactive support to the business with ad-hoc reports, generating critical insights to identify new opportunities or mitigate risks.
