The Opportunity  

Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a high-performing team on a state-significant mega infrastructure project. This pivotal role manages the full document lifecycle—from creation to archiving—ensuring accuracy, governance compliance, and operational efficiency. Success requires meticulous attention to detail and strong collaboration with all stakeholders driving continuous improvement throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Lead end-to-end document lifecycle management, ensuring seamless coordination from creation to archiving and adherence to best practices.
  • Champion version control and governance, maintaining current revisions, archiving outdated documents, and executing audits for accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage document control systems, regulating access permissions, monitoring status, and driving collaboration across stakeholders and project teams.
  • Act as the central point of contact for document-related inquiries, promoting clarity, transparency, and smooth information flow.
  • Enhance processes and provide training, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and upskill users in document management tools and compliance.

About You  

  • Proven track record in document control or records management, preferably in regulated industries such as manufacturing, construction, or healthcare.
  • Skilled both in the strategic analysis of document control processes and hands-on in ensuring its effective execution across major projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of document management software and systems (e.g. SharePoint or Aconex)
  • Highly organised with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a high performing, fast-paced environment which is constantly evolving and prioritise tasks effectively.
