The Opportunity

Join Bureau Veritas as a Mineralogist and play a key role in delivering high-quality mineralogical analysis and project outcomes within a leading laboratory environment. Working closely with clients, technical teams, and senior stakeholders, you will lead and support mineral processing projects from planning through to reporting, while contributing to continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with client management and project leadership in a collaborative and fast-paced setting.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct mineralogical interpretation, data analysis and technical reporting
  • Coordinate and supervise laboratory test work and project activities
  • Collaborate with clients to deliver project outcomes and technical solutions
  • Monitor project schedules, quality standards and operational performance
  • Support safety, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives

 

About you

  • Degree qualified in geology or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in mineralogy, including XRD, QEMSCAN or automate mineralogy methods
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team orientated laboratory environment
