Our state-of-the-art laboratories are strategically placed to help provide a wide range of inspection and laboratory testing services across a broad range of commodities.
The Opportunity
The Production Co-ordinator is responsible for the efficient coordinating of services to the client. This entails but is not limited to; profiling the client supplied analytical requests, through to the reporting of analytical results and final invoicing. In addition there is a variety of administrative duties to support the business unit.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Responsibilities
- Interpret the clients’ requirements in relation to the supplied Sample Despatch Advice
- Accurately profile the client’s requirements into the Laboratory Information Management System within 24 hours of it being submitted. Communicate to the client when their samples arrive on site.
- Communicate client requirements to all key stakeholders and any issues to the client.
- Enter and maintain data using the Laboratory Information Management Systems
- Enter and maintain data using Microsoft software
- Report analytical result to the client in accordance to the business unit procedures.
- Invoice clients on the completion of work performed
- Enter information into the scheduling software when required
QHSE and Quality Responsibilities
- Promote a safe workplace by following HSE policies and reporting hazards, incidents, and risks promptly.
- Support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives in line with site and company requirements.
- Participate in safety inspections, audits, and continuous improvement activities to maintain a zero-harm culture.
- Maintain compliance with QHSE procedures and actively participate in toolbox meetings, reviews, and audits.
- Identify and address safety and quality issues while supporting continuous improvement and a zero-harm culture.
- Ensure all work complies with quality procedures, standards, and company policies.
- Support quality excellence through training, audits, reviews, and calibration activities while escalating any quality concerns.
About you
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft software
- Data entry experience
- General knowledge of basic Laboratory practice
- Experience in the use of a Laboratory Information System.
- Basic understanding of invoicing.
- Previous client facing role.
- Strong Communication Skills
