Role Overview: 
 
As we to grow, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to work on a critical remediation project located in regional South Australia. This position requires travel to the project region on a fortnightly basis, with one week spent onsite and the following week off-site, flying out of Adelaide. During off-site weeks, you will only be contacted if required, though this is expected to be rare. Working from APP Adelaide office/hybrid for salaried employees to oversee project. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including partnering with our client, on-site contractors, and the APP project team, to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. 
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including subcontractors and vendors, to achieve project objectives. 
  • Implement and enforce quality control and safety measures to meet industry standards. 
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. 
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, providing updates and managing scope changes.   

 

About You: 

  • Superintendency experience is essential, proven capability in managing contracts, stakeholders, and compliance.
  • Proven experience managing complex remediation or environmental projects within regional areas of Australia, with a strong track record of delivering on time and within budget. 
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with clients, stakeholders, and project teams, ensuring clear communication and high levels of client satisfaction. 
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, Scientist, or a related field is desired 
  • Comprehensive knowledge in developing and managing detailed project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. 
  • Experience with management of environmental approvals
  • Baseline security clearance advantageous
