Position Overview:
The QA/QC Welding Inspector & Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all QA/QC practices are implemented, delivered, and documented effectively onsite. This role requires an individual with strong expertise in API510, API570, API653 standards, AWS CWI certification, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques. The successful candidate will assist clients in building and enhancing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and will oversee all QA/QC activities related to mechanical and fabrication remediation scopes, with a strong emphasis on compliance, impartiality, and independence.


Roster: 4/3 (Monday to Thursday) FIFO

Qualifications & Certifications:

  •  API510, API570, API653 certifications.
  •  AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
  •  Certified in relevant NDT techniques (e.g., ASNT Level II or III).

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC inspection, welding inspection, and NDT.
  •  Proven experience in developing and implementing QA/QC procedures.
  •  Proven experience in supervising and leading inspection teams.
  •  Experience with qualifying trades personnel and equipment for project sites.
  •  Experience with developing and implementing QMS.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions (e.g., field sites, fabrication shops).
  • Physical ability to conduct inspections, including climbing, standing, and working in confined spaces.

 

Additional Information:

  • Regular travel to project sites may be required.
  • Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Ensure all actions and decisions uphold the highest standards of compliance, impartiality, and independence.
