The Opportunity

Project Manager – Buildings & Infrastructure
Brisbane, QLD

Queensland is entering a defining decade of growth—and Brisbane is at its centre.

We’re looking for an ambitious and motivated Project Manager to join our Bureau Veritas – Buildings and Infrastructure team in Brisbane, supporting the delivery of projects that underpin Queensland’s expanding cities, communities, and economy. This is an opportunity to be part of a team contributing to the state’s long-term growth agenda, from urban densification and social infrastructure through to major commercial and mixed-use developments.

Working in a collaborative, supportive, and forward‑thinking environment, you’ll help deliver medium to large‑scale built‑form projects that improve how Queenslanders live, work, travel, and connect. As Brisbane continues to evolve in the lead‑up to the 2032 Olympics and beyond, this role offers genuine career progression and exposure to city‑shaping projects.

The Role

As a Project Manager, you’ll be involved across the full project lifecycle—from early planning and design through procurement, delivery, and handover. You’ll work closely with clients, designers, contractors, and internal specialists to translate complex ideas into successful, well‑coordinated outcomes.

This role suits someone ready to step into a broader consulting position—building confidence as a trusted advisor, strengthening leadership capability, and playing an active role in shaping projects that align with Queensland’s infrastructure and development priorities.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting and managing end‑to‑end project delivery across design, procurement, construction, and handover
  • Working client‑side within a consultancy environment on medium to large‑scale building and infrastructure projects
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams to ensure clarity, accountability, and momentum
  • Engaging with architects and designers to guide design outcomes aligned with client, program, and budget requirements
  • Assisting with procurement strategies, risk management, and delivery planning
  • Supporting contract administration and superintendent functions, working closely with head contractors
  • Monitoring budgets, schedules, and reporting requirements to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope

About You

You’re a motivated project professional who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being part of something bigger. You bring:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years’ experience in a related industry role, ideally within a consultancy or client‑side environment
  • Growing end‑to‑end project experience, with exposure to design, procurement, and/or construction delivery
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with confidence working across diverse teams
  • Design phase capability—comfortable contributing to and leading design meetings and consultant coordination
  • An understanding of procurement, risk identification, and delivery processes, with a desire to grow into stronger leadership roles
  • Experience supporting contract administration and contributing to commercial and compliance outcomes
  • Sound financial and programme awareness, with the ability to track budgets and delivery milestones
  • A professional, solutions‑focused mindset, strong written communication, and commitment to quality systems

Why Join Bureau Veritas?

You’ll join a global organisation with a strong local presence, working alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering quality outcomes.

In Queensland, we proudly partner with leading developers, asset owners, and public sector clients, delivering projects across:

  • Aviation
