About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic National Tender Lead to oversee McKenzie Group’s high‑volume fee proposal function across our Building Surveying, Accessibility, and Compliance Management service lines. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of proposals that support our national operations.
As the National Tender Lead, you will drive consistency, uplift team capability, and embed best practice across the proposal lifecycle. - Ensure all proposals meet McKenzie Group’s standards, approval workflows, and compliance requirements.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and performance oversight to the Tenders team, fostering clear expectations and strong role clarity.
- Build a collaborative, positive team culture that encourages open communication, continuous learning, and shared problem‑solving.
- Conduct quality reviews to ensure proposals are consistent, brand‑aligned, commercially sound, and client‑ready.
- Standardise templates, content libraries, pricing tools, and procedures to strengthen national consistency.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date library of capability statements, case studies, and team CVs.
- Work closely with Technical Leaders and stakeholders to verify scopes, deliverables, and timelines.
- Ensure proposal data is accurate and up to date within internal systems (including Salesforce), supporting reliable pipeline reporting.
- Identify and support the implementation of workflow enhancements, automation opportunities, and digital tools to improve efficiency.

- Strong leadership capability with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop a high‑performing team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to translate technical information into clear, compelling content.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across multiple teams and regions.
- Experience improving processes, implementing template or workflow standardisation, or driving automation.
