The role

The Contract Manager position within the Aviation and Aerospace Section of the CMSB provides ISS, logistics and medical services for vessels and aviation services all delivered through various contracts. The work includes managing complex contracts, managing fleet ISS arrangements for vessels, and providing a range of briefings given the high-profile nature of the services.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

  • ABF obtains value for money through satisfactory contractor performance, including the achievement of contract milestones.
  • Relationships between internal and external stakeholders are managed effectively.
  • Both parties meet their contractual obligations, and the desired outcomes are achieved.
  • ABF only pays for services and products specified in the contract.
  • Provide advice, reports, plans, and high-quality written briefs to the Executive on business, contractual, and financial aspects of the contracts.
  • Manage contracts and deliver all aspects of sound contract management practice.
  • Support budget development, financial management and forecasts.
  • Lead a small team to deliver high quality outputs within specified timeframes.

 

About You

  • Possess or able to obtain and maintain an NV1 security clearance and Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
  • Qualifications and/or substantial experience in complex, HRHV contract management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder negotiation.
  • Marine and/or marine contract management, and/or aviation contract managed experience, is highly desired but not essential.
