Defence & Security
Bureau Veritas’ Defence and Security business is designed to offer flexibility in service delivery, enabling operations from our offices, client locations, or remote settings as required. We bring together the best industry and project management professionals in a team structure tailored to Defence and suited to delivering multiple projects across the country.
The role
We are recruiting PMO professionals for defined roles on a multi-year, Tier 1 Federal Government digital program. The roles sit within an established Program Management Office and cover scheduling, reporting, finance, procurement, secretariat and communications functions:
- Master Scheduler and Reporting
- Program Executive Support
- Finance Manager
- Finance Officer
- Procurement and Contract Manager
- Procurement and Contract Officer
- Secretariat Officer
- Program Change and Communications Officer
You will operate under Commonwealth direction within existing governance, processes, tools and reporting formats, providing the information senior decision-makers rely on across a large portfolio of concurrent projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the integrated master schedule, consolidating project schedules, milestones and dependencies
- Produce accurate and timely program performance reports and dashboards, including schedule risk analysis and forecasting
- Develop and manage program budgets, financial controls, forecasts and month-end reconciliation and reporting
- Manage program-level procurement and contract activities in line with Commonwealth Procurement Rules, including vendor selection, contract establishment and supplier performance oversight
- Maintain key program registers covering risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, actions, change requests and benefits
- Coordinate governance board meetings, preparing agendas, papers and minutes and tracking actions and decisions to closure
- Develop and deliver program communications products and support stakeholder engagement across projects
About You
- Australian citizen holding an active NV1 security clearance (mandatory)
- Proven experience in PMO, scheduling, finance, procurement or secretariat roles on large Government ICT programs
- Skilled in schedule management tools, financial tracking and reporting platforms such as Power BI
- Experienced working within established Commonwealth governance and reporting frameworks
- Accurate, well-organised and reliable under regular reporting cycles
