The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to support our digital sourcing and procurement function. In this role, you will manage software assets throughout their lifecycle, ensure compliance with licensing agreements, and contribute to strong commercial governance across the enterprise. You will play a key role in audits, true‑up activities, renewals, and reporting, helping the organisation optimise costs, mitigate risk, and maintain high standards of contractual compliance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage software assets across their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements
  • Support digital sourcing and procurement activities for software and ICT services
  • Assist with audits, true‑up processes and preparation of data for reporting and renewals
  • Monitor software usage, entitlements and contractual obligations to ensure compliance
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and improved commercial outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation and commercial governance processes
  • Provide advice on licensing models, renewals and compliance requirements
  • Support risk mitigation activities related to software usage and contractual obligations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve licensing or compliance issues
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across software asset management and commercial processes

 

About You

  • Strong experience in software licensing, software asset management or ICT commercial management
  • Understanding of licensing models, compliance requirements and software lifecycle processes
  • Ability to support audits, true‑ups, renewals and commercial reporting activities
  • Skilled in analysing usage data, identifying compliance gaps and recommending solutions
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical, commercial and procurement teams
  • Experience in government or regulated environments (highly regarded)
  • Ability to interpret procurement policies, contractual requirements and commercial framework
  • Australian citizen with the ability to obtain — or already holding — a Baseline (or higher) security clearance
  • Detail‑focused, organised and confident working independently in a fast‑paced environment
