Who you are?
We are seeking applicants for the position of Laboratory Assistant for our XRF department, who are excited by the challenges of our business and variety this roles offers. You will be based at Sorbonne Crescent in Canning Vale, WA and will be responsible for using specialised equipment and performing manual handling tasks to prepare samples and laboratory testing. You will also be involved in the simulation of minerals production processes in order to test the properties of mineral samples.
Some of your tasks will be:
- Weighing, digestion and preparation of samples for analysis
- Follow and adhere to laboratory procedures
- Undertake tasks as requested by the supervisor
- Meet quality, TATs and KPI’s required for the role.
- Maintain good laboratory housekeeping.

What is the roster:
- Rotational roster – Monday to Sunday
- Day shift (6.00am – 6.00pm)
- Night shift (6.00pm – 6.00am)
Please note that as part of the recruitment process you must be able to pass a medical which includes a drug and alcohol test.
