The Opportunity
We are seeking applicants for the position of Laboratory Assistant for our XRF department, who are excited by the challenges of our business and variety this roles offers. You will be based at Sorbonne Crescent in Canning Vale, WA and will be responsible for using specialised equipment and performing manual handling tasks to prepare samples and perform laboratory testing. You will also be involved in the simulation of minerals production processes in order to test the properties of mineral samples.
Key Responsibilities
- Weighing, digestion and preparation of samples for analysis
- Follow and adhere to laboratory procedures
- Undertake tasks as requested by the supervisor
- Meet quality, TATs and KPI’s required for the role.
- Maintain good laboratory housekeeping.

- Reliable and keen to work
- Flexibility for shift and weekend work
- Physically fit and willing to perform manual handling tasks
- Sound numerical skills
- A methodical, well organised approach to your work
- Be willing to work as part of a team with a high focus on quality & safety
Roster
Monday to Friday 8 hour shift rotational roster
- Day shift (6.00am – 2.00pm)
- Afternoon shift (2.00pm – 10.00pm)
- Night shift (10.00pm – 6.00am)
**Full availability across all shifts is required
**Roster may also change in future to meet business requirements
