The role:
The Mechanical Inspection Engineer will primarily be responsible for leading a team of other engineers to perform site based mechanical inspections, analysis of static and dynamic machinery, assessing and reporting on damage / deterioration, as well as reviewing and approving remedial scopes of work.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to make the change to an engineering leadership position and focus on continuous improvement, innovation, quality management, client account management and planning the team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
- At least 3 years experience covering engineering design and site based inspections
- Knowledge of mining equipment and machinery, especially, conveyors, stackers, reclaimers and ship loaders is Essential.
- Sound understanding of Asset Management, Condition Monitoring of equipment and infrastructure such as balanced machines, cranes, structures, materials handling equipment, process equipment, infrastructure, civil works
- Advanced communication, interpersonal and influencing skills

Base Salary between $100,000-$110,000 depending on skills, qualifications and experience, plus well paid overtime & allowances, and an opportunity to advance your career in a leading global organisation.
