The Opportunity  

As a Production Supervisor in Sample Preparation, you’ll be at the heart of a fast paced, mission critical operation. You’ll lead a motivated team, keep production running smoothly, and drive improvements that help our entire laboratory deliver excellence. Key Responsibilities  

• Lead, support, and inspire a team across crushing, milling, drying, and splitting operations.
• Keep production flowing efficiently to meet daily and weekly targets.
• Build a strong, safety first culture through coaching, mentoring, and visible leadership.
• Work closely with Maintenance, Logistics, and Lab teams to keep everything running smoothly.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement smarter ways of working.
• Maintain accurate shift reports, monitor KPIs, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that make a real difference.

About You  

Essential:

• Experience in supervising or leading teams (lab, mining, processing, or manufacturing ideal).
• Understanding of sample preparation workflows or similar production environments.
• A proactive, hands on leadership approach.
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem solving skills.
• A passion for safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Desirable:

• Exposure to LIMS or production systems.
• Lean or process improvement knowledge.
• Forklift licence or similar operational tickets.

Roster

Monday to Friday 8 hour shift rotational roster

• Day shift (6.00am – 2.00pm)
• Afternoon shift (2.00pm – 10.00pm)
• Night shift (10.00pm – 6.00am)

**Full availability across all shifts is required

**Roster may also change in future to meet business requirements
