The role:
We have a dynamic opportunity for a Receptionist/Administration Assistant to join the Bureau Veritas team at Cardiff, NSW.
You will be responsible managing the front desk along with providing administrative support to the Business Unit Manager and the broader team. As the first point of contact for guests to the site, the ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanour, good organisation skills and an enthusiasm to assist visitors and staff.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Receive & welcome visitors and direct them to appropriate BV staff
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Finalise all invoice queries received from Accountants payable
- Booking & coordination of the medical assessments of candidates
- Monitoring medical results of candidates
- Raising of purchase orders, invoices and processing expense claims
- Processing travel bookings and uniform orders
- Issue of uniforms to employees
- General administration tasks such as filing, printing, biding, photocopying etc.
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Relevant work experience in an administrative position
- Great organisation skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; Excel essential
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
This role would suit a candidate wishing to pursue a career in the industry.
Safety is an absolute. Ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing and the ability to meet site inductions will be a requirement of working on site.
