Role: Fulltime role, with company supplied car.

 

Location: Western Districts, Victoria, based in Geelong.

 

Description:

  • Carry out In-Service Inspection of Boilers & Pressure Vessels.
  • Carry out Non-Destructive Testing.
  • Supervise In Service Inspectors

 

Bureau Veritas is looking to engage an inspector with extensive experience in Pressure Vessel, Plant and Boiler inspections, the role will involve performing pressure equipment, boiler, plant room and piping inspections at a variety of clients sites involved in diverse industries ranging from Food processing, Pharmaceutical and manufacturing.

 

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated person, who can work independently and for major events, supervise a team of inspectors. The role will involve a high level of customer interaction, work planning and inspection activities. The successful applicant will have a history of performing inspections, preparing reports, and making recommendations for continued operations of inspected equipment.

 

Welding Inspector qualifications would be an asset for the role.

The area covered will range from Geelong to Port Fairy and up to Bendigo, so a willingness to travel and be away from home for 1 to 2 days at a time is essential.

There will be a handover period and full support to assist the successful applicant settle into the role.
