The Opportunity

 

We are seeking a Reporting Officer / Coal Technologist to join our Mackay team on a permanent basis.

Your new role will see you interacting with our customers and clients on a daily basis, and ensuring that their requirements are met in a timely and professional manner. You will be working closely with the preparation and laboratory staff to ensure quality results are reported to our clients. 

This role would suit a candidate wishing to pursue a career in the industry.

 

 

About You

 

To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following:

  • Strong written and verbal English communication with a high attention to detail
  • Previous laboratory and/or reporting experience within the coal industry is highly desirable
  • Be reliable and able to work across a spread of hours between 6am and 6pm.
  • Strong maths and computer skills
  • Able to work well in a team environment.
  • A QLD C Class manual drivers license and own transport

 

Safety is an absolute. Ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing and the ability to meet site inductions will be a requirement of working on site.

Must live locally in the Mackay region. NO FIFO.
