About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Building Inspector with Unlimited Registration to join our Melbourne team. This is a hands‑on, site‑based role conducting around six to eight inspections per day across a variety of Victorian projects, including Defence, Healthcare, and major infrastructure developments. Inspection volumes may vary depending on project type and location. You will work closely with our Inspections Coordinator to plan daily site visits, complete inspections, and prepare detailed reports through our internal systems, which will play a key role in strengthening our in‑house inspection capability.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site building inspections across Victoria and document findings accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports using internal systems and project platforms.
- Liaise closely with internal teams to ensure inspection outcomes and recommendations are communicated clearly.
- Maintain accurate job files and documentation to support quality and compliance standards.
- Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, councils, and relevant authorities.
- Collaborate with the Inspections Coordinator to optimise scheduling and daily workflow.
- Adhere to company QHSE requirements, including quality control, safety, and auditing processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of inspection procedures and documentation.
What We Are Looking For
- Current registration as a Building Inspector Unlimited in Victoria.
- Strong communication skills with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Experience in building inspections or a related compliance role.
- High level of attention to detail with strong reporting and documentation abilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively while travelling between multiple inspections each day.
- A proactive, solutions‑focused team player with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Valid driver’s licence
