Courier Driver

We are seeking to appoint a casual Courier Driver who will be directly responsible for transferring samples in our West Melbourne site and providing general business delivery services such as the pickup and drop off mail and banking. There may also be a requirement from time to time to collect samples from customer sites for delivery to BVAQ.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a safe working environment
• Ensure all work practices within the area are performed to the relevant standards and procedures
• Receipting of samples
• Delivery of samples
• Monitor temperature of refrigerators in courier vans
• Maintain cleanliness of Vans
• Monitor the safety of courier vans
• Build and Maintain good relationships with the clients

RELEVANT EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Basic Microsoft office applications (Essential)
• Current Australian Drivers License (Essential)
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong customer focus
• Demonstrable attention to detail
• Committed to achieving the highest level of service
• Professional and diligent
• Prepared to “ask” and learn from experience
• Positive and pro-active.
• Team player, with the ability to work autonomously
• Honest and reliable
