B&I Pathways Opportunity
As part of Bureau Veritas, Buildings & Infrastructure supports clients by providing strategic, commercial and technical services throughout the asset lifecycle. Through the B&I Pathways Program, we're investing in talented administration and coordination professionals who are ready to build new capabilities through structured development, mentoring and supported study, creating a pathway into professional project delivery and consulting careers.
As a Project & Operations Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of infrastructure and buildings projects across Australia. Working closely with project managers and technical specialists, you'll provide high-quality business and project support while gaining practical exposure to project delivery, governance and consulting environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality business, project and administrative support to project managers and technical teams across a range of consulting projects.
- Coordinate and support bid and proposal activities, including document preparation, formatting, submission packs and stakeholder coordination.
- Assist with project governance, systems administration and document control processes, ensuring accurate project information, records and compliance requirements are maintained.
- Prepare reports, presentations, meeting packs and project correspondence, ensuring consistency, accuracy and professional presentation standards.
- Coordinate meetings, schedules and project activities, helping teams remain organised and deliver outcomes efficiently.
- Act as a key point of coordination for team requests, monitoring actions, following up outstanding items and supporting day-to-day team administration.
- Support day-to-day office operations, including coordinating office supplies, equipment, facilities and general administrative requirements.
- Work closely with project managers and technical specialists, gaining exposure to project delivery, commercial processes, governance and client service environments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the enhancement of business processes, systems and ways of working.
- Participate in learning, development and mentoring opportunities through the B&I Pathways Program, building skills and knowledge to support future career growth
About You
- Demonstrated experience in an administration, executive assistant, project coordination, bid coordination or document control role within a professional, technical or complex organisational environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written communication skills, including experience preparing professional documents, reports, proposals or presentations.
- Confidence working across multiple stakeholders and building effective working relationships with diverse teams.
- Experience supporting projects, programs, governance activities or operational processes will be highly regarded.
- A genuine interest in infrastructure, construction, planning, engineering or project management, with a desire to develop your knowledge in a technical consulting environment.
- Motivation to undertake part-time study while working, with study support available through the B&I Pathways Program.
