The Opportunity
This position will evolve to become the primary Local Support, as the systems transformation at Bureau Veritas Buildings and Infrastructure (BV B&I) moves from Project to Business-as-Usual mode. This position will be responsible for the review and follow-up of error logs, provide help desk support and case escalation as needed. Continuous system, reporting and dashboard improvements and evolution is expected and will require close engagement with Business, Super Users and other stakeholders to ensure priorities are agreed and managed. This position will also work closely with Bureau Veritas DxT and Salesforce/Certinia for the management of deployments and releases, within a defined governance framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain regular communication with project sponsors, transformation leads, and business unit stakeholders to provide updates on analysis, design, and delivery milestones
- Support the successful implementation of Bureau Veritas’ internal systems transformation by identifying requirements, pain points, and improvement opportunities
- Facilitate workshops and consultations with subject matter experts to gather functional and non-functional requirements
- Collaborate with internal technical teams and vendors to ensure requirements are translated into effective system configurations and integrations
- Assist in the design and delivery of enterprise-level data solutions, including reports, dashboards, and system interfaces that meet the business's operational and strategic needs
- Support the testing, validation, and deployment of system enhancements, including drafting test cases, managing defects, and coordinating user acceptance testing
- Create and maintain documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, user guides, and training materials
- Establish standards and frameworks for data governance, ensuring consistency and accuracy across transformed systems
- Translate complex technical or data concepts into clear, actionable insights for nontechnical stakeholders
- Provide support and guidance to project team members, ensuring alignment with program goals, timelines, and deliverables
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience implementing and using modern technology solutions, including solution configuration, master data management, data import/migration, and interfacing with third-party systems
- Experience leading or contributing to project management, including reporting, documentation, and stakeholder coordination ensuring project milestones are met on time and to budget
- Minimum of 5 years’ post-graduate experience in a Business Analyst or data focused role
- Strong technical expertise in data analysis, reporting, and systems integration
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a range of stakeholders
- Proven ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines in dynamic environments
- Whilst Salesforce experience is not mandatory, it is preferred. Knowledge of Certinia is also advantageous.
