The Role:
BV is seeking an experienced Senior Wind Engineer. The candidate should have a High-level understanding of the energy yield assessments and experienced in Design review, verification, and assessment of the renewable energy plants. This may include budget, schedule, quality, risk, contract and stakeholder management, supervise the construction, procurement activities, involve with the negotiation with EPC, manage industrial relations etc.

 


Key responsibilities:

  • Wind site visits, inspections, RCAs
  • High level understanding of the energy yield assessments  
  • Design review, verification, and assessment of the renewable energy plants
  • Experiences with EPC, O&M and TSA contract reviews
  •  Perform technical due diligence, construction monitoring, payment milestone authorization of the wind projects
  • Manage the Projects as the owners engineer
  •  Manage other engineering sub-consultants to meet the requirements of BV’s clients.
  • Maintaining communication with engineers of other international BV offices and
  • facilitating information sharing in the area of electrical engineering for renewable energy plants.
  • Client liaison, including development and continual review of client requirements, managing client expectations, keeping clients informed of work progress and ensuring timely production of deliverables
  •  Participate and represent BV in renewable energy conferences, events, etc.
  • Any other tasks requested by the Engineering Manager

 

 

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, Masters is preferred
  •  Working in the consultancy environment as owner and lender engineer
  • Wind farm site experiences with GWO qualification
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent Report writing skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
