The Opportunity

BV is seeking an experienced site QA/QC Lead with 5+ years of experience. The candidate should have a proven track record of success in overseeing the quality aspects of renewable energy projects (> 100 MW) on site activities.   The main objective of this Expert is to ensure the supervision of electrical / instrumentation and civil inspection activities to verify Quality Control Plans and Inspection Test Plan implementation. In this regard, BV Quality Expert will undertake the following tasks:

 

  • Check Inspection Test Plan with reference to electrical activities
  • Check the availability and adequacy of consumables and equipment/instrumentation used for electrical / instrumentation execution and control
  • Verify that material and equipment are correctly received, stored, preserved, calibrated, handled, identified, and traceable
  • Supervise and witness inspections, check reports and documentation issued by the contractor and verify the collection of required Quality Records
  • Verify that the NCR management process is in place and effective.
  • Ensure that QA/QC records and documentation is maintained accurately and completed by D&C contractor site team during the course of the project.
  • Report as required (daily, weekly, monthly) on project QA/QC requirements using Client project specific QA/QC documents and forms.
  • Monitor and maintain project QA/QC files and data within Client’s integrated document management systems (DMS)

 

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under high pressure environment
