Our state-of-the-art laboratories are strategically placed to help provide a wide range of inspection and laboratory testing services across a broad range of commodities.
The Opportunity
We are seeking casual FIFO Laboratory Technicians to support our onsite laboratories across regional WA. These roles provide leave coverage and additional shift support on an as‑needed basis.
You’ll work at one of our onsite locations, using specialised laboratory equipment to test samples or performing manual preparation tasks, depending on the focus of the role. If you’re energised by variety and ready for hands‑on work in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
In these roles some of your tasks may be, but not limited to:
- All aspects of Sample Preparation
- Davies Tube recovery
- Sizing
- XRF analysis
- Wet Chem - ICP-OES, titrations
- AAS
- PAL
Training will be provided as well.
About You
- Existing skills and experience in Sample Preparation, Metallurgical test work and XRF is highly regarded
- Ability to maintain a high quality of work while meeting daily production targets
- Ability to comply with site specific and Bureau Veritas QHSE policies
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Excellent communication skills
Roster
Dependent on site but we have the below rosters
- 8/6/7/7 day and night shift
- 2/1 roster day and nightshift
- 2/2 day and night shift
