The Opportunity
Bureau Veritas are growing our Defence sector capability and is looking to hire, for a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to support the Estate Works Program (EWP) as part of the Project Delivery Service (PDS) ten-year contract, based in Perth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver multiple projects from concept to completion, guiding all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Engage confidently with a broad range of stakeholders, building strong partnerships and maintaining alignment throughout project delivery.
  • Produce high-quality project documentation and reporting that meets Defence and Bureau Veritas expectations.
  • Deliver successful project outcomes through effective cost, schedule, risk, and quality management
  • Ensure procurement activities meet Commonwealth compliance requirements and best-practice governance standards.
  • Oversee project handover and closeout activities, ensuring a smooth transition to operational teams.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and applying insights to future projects.   

 

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Engineering, Construction Management).
  • A current Baseline Security Clearance (or ability to maintain one).
  • Proven experience managing construction projects, ideally within the Defence or Government sector.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, or Agile.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement practices and compliance standards.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
