The Opportunity

Project Manager – Buildings and Infrastructure

 

We’re looking for an ambitious and driven Project Manager to join our Perth Bureau Veritas – Buildings and Infrastructure team—someone ready to take the next step in their career and make a meaningful impact on the communities we serve. Working in a dynamic, supportive, and forward‑thinking environment, you’ll help deliver medium to large-scale built-form projects that shape how people live, work, and connect.

 

In this role, you’ll be involved across the full project lifecycle—from concept and design through procurement, delivery, and handover. You’ll work closely with clients, designers, and delivery partners to bring complex ideas to life, contributing your expertise while continuing to grow into a confident, trusted project leader. Your ability to coordinate teams, guide outcomes, and keep projects moving with clarity and purpose will be key to your success.

 

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

Relevant qualifications - Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline, with 4+ years’ experience in a related industry position.

Growing end-to-end project experience -You’ve supported or managed medium to large-scale design and construction projects end-to-end, from Client side, ideally within a consultancy environment. You’re keen to work across all phases—from design and procurement to delivery and contract superintendency.

Strong stakeholder engagement - A confident communicator who enjoys building relationships, facilitating discussions, and working collaboratively with clients, designers, and contractors to guide outcomes.

Design phase expertise: Comfortable engaging with designers, leading meetings, and influencing design outcomes to align with project goals.

Procurement and delivery coordination - Familiar with procurement processes, risk identification, and supporting team and taking lead during delivery—keen to strengthen your leadership capabilities in these areas.

Contract administration foundations -Experience working with head contractors, administering contracts (or supporting this process), and contributing to commercial and compliance outcomes.

Financial and schedule awareness - Ability to support project budgets and financials effectively, establish delivery timeframes and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Professionalism and drive - You bring integrity, initiative, and a solutions-focused mindset to every engagement. Strong written communication and adherence to internal quality systems are essential.
