The opportunity
Bureau Veritas' Buildings and Infrastructure is seeking talented Advisors to join our Sydney practice. This role is ideally suited to early-career professionals who are eager to build a career at the intersection of infrastructure, energy, and complex commercial advisory — working alongside one of the most experienced advisory teams in Australia.
You will play a hands-on supporting role in the delivery of transaction, commercial, and strategic advisory services across major infrastructure and energy projects. Day-to-day activities will include:
- Supporting the planning and management of procurement and transaction processes
- Conducting commercial analysis and preparing advice for major infrastructure projects
- Drafting client reports, briefing papers, and procurement documentation
- Coordinating market engagement activities and industry consultations
- Contributing to project governance, evaluation, and negotiation processes
- Carrying out research and market analysis across infrastructure, energy, and utilities sectors
- Business case report drafting
Please note: Ideally, the successful candidate will be available to commence by mid-May to support critical projects.
About You
- A degree in engineering, economics, business, finance, law, construction management, or a related discipline
- Relevant experience in infrastructure, advisory, commercial, or transaction environments
- Exposure to infrastructure sectors such as rail, transport, renewable energy, water, or utilities
- Strong analytical and written communication skills, with high attention to detail
- Experience working within project management, advisory, commercial or transaction environments
- Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced consulting environment
- Genuine curiosity about infrastructure and a desire to contribute to shaping how communities grow and function
