Digital Platform & Integration Manager
Defence Estate Works Program
Location: NSW (Newcastle or Sydney)
Mandatory requirement - Baseline Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one. As such, Australian citizenship is required.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Digital Platform & Integration Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and operating the Defence Estate Works Program’s digital ecosystem.
Reporting into the Director of Innovation & Continuous Improvement, this position combines strategic involvement in the ongoing evolution of the program’s digital environment with a hands‑on leadership role in day‑to‑day platform configuration, integration and optimisation. You will work closely with senior leadership to help define how digital platforms support delivery, governance and reporting—then roll up your sleeves to make it happen.
Operating in a dynamic, fast‑evolving Defence environment, this role is ideal for someone who embraces change, enjoys solving complex problems, and is motivated by creating efficient, scalable and best‑practice digital solutions that directly support project delivery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration, administration and optimisation of Procore program templates, workflows and standards
- Establish and maintain platform governance, permissions and configuration controls
- Coordinate and support integrations between Procore, Certinia, SharePoint and Power BI
- Partner with integration vendors during design, development, testing and deployment phases
- Translate delivery, commercial and governance processes into effective digital workflows
- Support onboarding of projects and teams into the program’s digital ecosystem
- Monitor system usage, reliability and performance, driving continuous improvement
- Promote strong platform adoption and consistent, effective system use across delivery teams
- Develop practical system guidance, training materials and documentation
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in a similar digital platform or systems leadership role
- Strong background in project management, construction, engineering or infrastructure delivery environments
- Hands‑on experience administering Procore or comparable project delivery platforms
- Sound understanding of system integrations, data flows and platform interoperability
- Comfortable operating in an agile, evolving environment with competing priorities
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence working across delivery teams and vendors
Desirable
- Experience working within Defence, government or regulated environments
- Exposure to enterprise financial or commercial systems (e.g. Certinia)
- Australian Defence Force service experience highly regarded
