Position: Finance & Data Analyst – Property team
Location: Sydney CBD
We are seeking a highly motivated Finance & Data Analyst to support the financial operations of our real estate business, managing a large-scale Property Management portfolio. Reporting to the Trust & Reporting Manager, this role is responsible for delivering core trust accounting and financial reporting functions while working closely with a collaborative team of 10 professionals.
This position includes a client-facing component and requires strong communication skills to confidently engage with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Receipting and management of Trust Funds
- Accounts Payable processing
- Financial reporting including Actual vs Budget reporting, Bank Reconciliations, and Trial Balances
- Maintenance of the Property Management database
- Account and balance sheet reconciliations
- Analysing portfolio trends and reporting on financial and operational performance
- Supporting the Trust & Reporting Manager in delivering accurate, timely financial outcomes across the portfolio
Skills & Experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively in a client-facing environment
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications & Background (Desirable)
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or a related discipline
- Previous experience (12 months) working within the Real Estate or Property Management sector would be ideal OR recent Graduate with a desire to progress your career in the Property industry.
