The Opportunity

We are seeking a commercially astute Finance Business Partner – Infrastructure Projects to join our team in Sydney. This role partners closely with senior stakeholders to drive effective financial decision-making across complex projects, delivering insightful reporting, improving commercial outcomes and enhancing financial capability across the business.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting and performance insights
  • Partner with stakeholders to optimise project performance, cash flow and profitability
  • Lead month-end processes, including reconciliations, accruals and financial controls
  • Challenge forecasts and provide strategic financial guidance to support decision-making
  • Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, systems and reporting

 

About You

  • CA / CPA / CIMA qualified with a degree in Business, Commerce or Accounting
  • Experience in a Finance Business Partner or Commercial Analyst role, ideally within consulting or major projects environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior leaders
  • Advanced analytical and reporting capability with a commercial mindset
  • Experience with ERP systems (Salesforce Certinia desirable but not essential)
