The Opportunity

Bureau Veritas is strengthening our capability across the Pacific and we are seeking an experienced Senior Bid Leader to lead our bid support function and uplift our pursuit strategy across the region.

In this pivotal role, you’ll guide the business in delivering compelling, high‑quality bids, tenders and submissions that win work and drive growth. You’ll influence, motivate and bring stakeholders on the journey, playing a central role in improving our win rates and shaping the future of tendering excellence at Bureau Veritas.

You’ll join a collaborative team ready for growth and partner closely with senior leaders, product lines, marketing and offshore resources. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team, build an end‑to‑end pursuit platform, drive innovation in how we bid and win, and develop a best‑practice content library and training framework that will elevate capability across the business.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and optimise the tendering and bid support function, including pipeline planning, resource allocation, and management of tender portals.
  • Develop and maintain a centralised library of bid content in partnership with Marketing, ensuring brand consistency and high‑quality submissions.
  • Oversee governance and compliance for all bids, ensuring accurate content, correct approvals, and up‑to‑date templates and documentation.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across bid operations, including training programs, metrics, content frameworks, and adoption of AI and offshore resources.
  • Manage and develop the Bid Team, including operating rhythm, performance, capability uplift and stakeholder partnering.

 

About You

  • A proven background in bid and tender management, with a track record of delivering high‑quality, competitive proposals.
  • Extensive experience leading and developing teams, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance culture.
  • Skilled in developing persuasive written content, managing complex submissions, and shaping compelling value propositions.
  • Experience driving change and implementing improved frameworks, systems, or processes across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • You are confident engaging with senior leaders and customers, interpreting their needs and translating them into strategic bid outcomes.
