The role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Business Development Manager for Sustainability in the Pacific region, you will be responsible for driving the growth and adoption of Bureau Veritas' sustainability services, including Sustainability Assurance Services, Modern Slavery Risk Management and Auditing, Sustainable Product Certification & Ecolabels, and Farm Assurance Programs.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities (including but not limited to):
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the reach and impact of Bureau Veritas' sustainability services in the Pacific region.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with relevant stakeholders including consultants, industry associations, and potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Attend and actively participate in relevant industry events, conferences, and networking activities to raise the profile of Bureau Veritas' sustainability services.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute targeted communication materials, such as newsletters, case studies, and thought leadership pieces.
- Implement cross-selling initiatives to leverage Bureau Veritas' broader service offerings and deliver integrated solutions to clients.

This role is open to Sydney and Melbourne
What’s needed?
Ideally you will have previous experience and the following skillsets:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or proven experience in technical sales and business development
- Proven track record in business development, preferably within the sustainability or environmental consulting industry.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the sustainability market in Australia, including relevant legislation, key industry players, and client needs.
- Experience in developing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
- Familiarity with Bureau Veritas' sustainability service offerings, including Sustainability Assurance Services, Modern Slavery Risk Management and Auditing, Sustainable Product Certification & Ecolabels, and Farm Assurance Programs.
- Strong network of contacts within the sustainability and environmental consulting sectors in the Pacific region.
