The Opportunity 


 
The APP Group is growing our infrastructure delivery capability across New South Wales, and we’re inviting experienced Surveillance Officers and Inspectors to join us on upcoming Transport project in Regional NSW.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of NSW’s infrastructure by ensuring quality and compliance across major civil, bridge, and road works. We’re particularly focused on building our presence in regional hubs such as Wagga Wagga and Albury, where a strong pipeline of Transport projects is underway.
Whether you're based in the Riverina, Murray region, or elsewhere in NSW, we’re looking for committed professionals with a passion for infrastructure and a track record of excellence in project delivery.
 
Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide onsite verification of works, contractors' QA systems, and all other onsite activities for designated projects. 
  • Maintain detailed site records, including photographic and written documentation, to verify work completion and quality. 
  • Offer real-time feedback on construction issues to the project team and stakeholders. 
  • Support Project Engineers, Managers, and Directors to ensure effective project delivery while taking responsibility for day-to-day surveillance of assigned project elements. 

 

About You 

 

  • Proven experience in technical surveillance or quality assurance within engineering or construction, with a strong track record of managing and verifying onsite activities. 
  • Previous experience on Transport for NSW or local government projects in New South Wales, particularly in civil, bridge, and road infrastructure is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, Australian Standards, and construction documentation. 
  • Excellent client and stakeholder relationship management skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a high-performing team.
