Who you are?
We are seeking applicants for the position of Fire Assayer, who are excited by the challenges of our business and variety this role offers. You will be based at Wingfield, SA and will be responsible for using specialised equipment and performing manual handling tasks to prepare samples.
Some of your tasks will be:
- Weigh samples for analysis.
- Fluxing, firing, knock-up and cupellation of samples.
- Picking prills for digest.
- Ensure correct procedures are used and adhered to.
- Follow QHSE procedure.
What will you bring to the role?
- Reliable and keen to work.
- Physically fit, prepared to carry out manual tasks.
- Be able to work a rotating Day, afternoon and Night shift Roster.
- Have the ability to follow set procedures and good attention to detail.
- Be willing to work as part of a team with a high focus on quality & safety.
What is the roster:
- Monday to Friday roster
- Rotating shift roster every 2 weeks
- Day shift (7.00am – 3.00pm)
- Afternoon shift (3.00pm – 11.00pm)
- Night shift (11.00pm – 7.00am)
- Rotating shift roster every 2 weeks
**Full availability across all shifts is required
