The role

An opportunity exists for an Adelaide based Mineralogist to work with the Mineral Processing team. You will be responsible for a range of mineralogical data generation, analysis and interpretation, technical report writing and liaising with clients.

 

You will bring strong technical and client relationship building. Ideally, you will have knowledge and experience with NIR-FTIR, XRD and automated SEMEDS analysis such TIMA, MLA, QEMSCAN or similar.

 

What’s needed?                 

Ideally you will have previous experience and the following skillsets:

  • Mineralogical experience in at least one of the above methods including preparation, interpretation and reporting
  • Tertiary qualifications in Geology, Mineralogy or Geoscience
  • Broad mineralogy experience with exposure to a range of commodities and minerals

 

Desirable requirements:

  • Exploration geology experience
  • Ore-body evaluations and geo-metallurgy experience
  • Exposure to optical mineralogy
  • Metallurgical test work knowledge
  • Assay laboratory knowledge
