The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our laboratory operations team at Wingfield, Adelaide. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will supervise day-to-day operational activities, ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are consistently achieved in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide strong on‑shift leadership, maintain operational stability, and drive team performance. You will be responsible for motivating your team, managing workflow, and ensuring operational priorities are delivered safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
As a Supervisor you will:

Lead, motivate, and supervise a team to achieve daily production targets in a fast‑paced environment.

Act as the senior contact on shift, managing workflow, priorities, and operational issues.

Ensure all work is completed in line with safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Support onboarding, training, and performance management of team members.

Drive continuous improvement across safety, efficiency, and team performance.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Demonstrated experience leading and motivating teams in a fast‑paced operational or production environment.

Proven ability to manage people, performance, and competing priorities effectively.

Strong safety leadership mindset with sound understanding of workplace health and safety principles.

Hands-on leadership style with confident decision-making and clear communication skills.

Well-developed organisational and time management skills to meet operational deadlines.
Roster
- Monday to Friday - 8 hour shifts
- Some weekends and overtime may be required
