INDUSTRIAL SURVEYOR

Ø Purpose of Position

• Conduct onsite inspection/verification & reporting the findings as per instruction provided by operation manager of the business line.
• Support maintaining revenue from production of the business line.
• Support business line to comply with all TQR issues.

• Major Responsibilities

• Undertaking activities for which they have been found as being competent.
• Compliance with contractual requirements
• Follow BV TQR policies and HSE requirements.
• Ensuring inspection services are performed to order specific PO, Approved – QAPs/ ITPs /Checklists, Drawings, Technical Specifications/Standards and ensuring traceability of the documents with the purchase order/equipment number.
• Surveyor/ Inspector shall refuse a service in absence of any of the above relevant document
• Maintains impartiality during inspection.
• Refuse inspection if safety norms are flouted

• Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)
• Monthly utilization  - not less than 80%
• Issuing Field Inspection Report (FIR) – on daily basis.
• Issuing final inspection report within 3 working days of completion of inspection
• Not more than two issues to be identified during onsite performance monitoring
• Aiming zero customer complaint
• No noncompliance to be identified during internal audit against any management system

Educational Qualification:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Reputed University.

• Or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any Public Polytechnic Institute with minimum 8 years experience.

Professional Qualification:

• CSWIP‐3.1 (Certified Welding Inspector Level‐II)  Or AWS QC1‐Certified Associate Welding Inspector.
• ASNT NDT Level –ll (RT).
