NDT Inspector

Ø Purpose of Position

• The job incumbent is responsible for inspection in NDT field of IND business (Oil & Gas, Power and Petrochemical Industries).
• The position performs in line with the Bureau  Veritas Non Destructive Testing, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy  

Ø Major Responsibilities

• Inspection in various NDT sector, UT,RT,MPT, DPT etc at Sites or laboratory.
• Ultrasonic Testing done Pipeline, Power plant, oil refinery, oil and gas storage tank,  Offshore structure, building structure etc.
• Radiography Testing done Pipeline, Power plant, oil refinery, oil and gas storage tank,  Offshore structure, building structure etc.
• Magnetic Particle Testing done Pipeline, Power plant, oil refinery, oil and gas storage tank,  Offshore structure, building structure etc.
• Liquid Penetrant Inspection done Pipeline, Power plant, oil refinery, oil and gas storage tank,  Offshore structure, building structure etc.
• Arrange NDT training for all new joined NDT technicians.
• Ensuring every work is executed according to the specification & Standard quality practice.
• Tracking incoming & outgoing materials & following up for the same.
• Maintain Bureau Veritas all the QHSE requirement.
• Maintain all the radiation safety related document.
• Communicate with Bangladesh Atomic Energy Regulatory Authority for new licence or renewal.
• During radiographic testing all the safety follow as per Bureau veritas radiation safety procedure.
• Vendor evaluation, Customer satisfaction surveys, coordination with vendors and clients.
• Developing new clients and Tender bidding
• Training on safety
• Preparation of Conformity Report and Non-conformity Report of materials.

• Zero accident due to NDT activity
• Time taken to deliver the report to the client

• Number of inspections done in the allocated timeframe

• Share information, Best practise, Knowledge Management

Ø Qualification and Experience

• Graduate in Engineering Discipline / Engineering Diploma Mechanical with minimum 6-7 years of relevant experience.
• ASNT Level II – UT, RT, MPT, PT.
