As we continue to develop Marine & Offshore activities, join our organization as Commercial Product Manager. Ideally based in La Défense (Courbevoie - 92), France, another location may be considered.
Role & main responsibilities
Within the MarCom Department, you are the link between product development, market demands, and the commercial strategy.
Your specialty is to participate in the development and management of products, according to the company's commercial objectives, to stimulate growth in market share, revenue, and customer portfolio expansion.
In collaboration with the market managers as well as the marketing and communication teams, you participate in the implementation of the commercial strategy of the products, in connection with the technical teams, to ensure successful project management.
Your main responsibilities will include :
- Product Management : Manage the lifecycle of products, from product ideas through development to market launch and market performance, ensuring alignment with Marine & Offshore’s commercial strategy.
- Product development : actively manage development projects and collaborate with technical and expert departments to efficiently develop new and relaunch existing products
- Market Analysis : Collaborate with Market Leaders and Zones to gain insights into market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to drive market-oriented product development.
- Go-To-Market Strategy : Work closely with Marketing & Communications to create compelling product narratives and promotional strategies, and with Sales to ensure effective market introduction and sales support.
- Portfolio Management : Maintain and optimize a balanced M&O product portfolio that meets market demands and supports commercial business objectives.
- Data-Driven Decision Making : Implement and utilize robust data analysis frameworks to support product decisions in respective boards, track performance metrics, and make continuous improvements, within the product Management process.
- Innovation : Foster a culture of innovation by supporting the development of new products that leverage emerging trends and technologies.
Requirements
With a Master's degree in business school and solid commercial or marketing knowledge, you have at least 5 years of experience in product management in the maritime industry. You also master data analysis tools (CRM, BI, etc.) and project management tools (JIRA).
Fluent in English, you provide support and expertise in both sales techniques and project management, as well as in strategy and decision-making.
Your understanding of market research and competitive analysis, as well as your appetite for commercial innovation, will be essential to work in a cross-functional way with different teams.
