You Role Purpose:

 

The S&I GSL has identified opportunities to address growth, replication and expansion of sustainability advisory services delivered to customers globally. As such the GLS is committed in placing a Commercially minided leader in strategic markets to support the commercial growth of the region specifically focused on the priorities of the GSL. The role will accelerate the execution of the plan by leveraging the strength of the Operational Groups to increase sales, and achieve growth. The role will focus on alignment between sales and operations and the delivery of a detailed roadmap specific to the region and aligned with GSL’s priorities.

 

  • Lead on sales for key opportunities and account in coordination with the Operations Group’s leadership.
  • Help to co-ordinate sales direction in key account/mid-market through leveraging skills and experience globally.
  • Creation of sustainable sales channels, through partnerships, frameworks, joint ventures and memberships.
  • Support competency development, acquisition of new skills or cross-skilling resources to meet demand.

 

 

Your Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Establish sales & resourcing strategies to develop business in sectors through a deep understanding of client business needs in the market, and trends both on the horizon and within competing organisations.
  • Define and support regional execution of ‘go-to-market’ package of services which align with GSL‘s priorities and are coordinated with global service lines, sales, marketing and operations across the region - explaining what customers need & what services in each market, proposals/tenders, communication materials, impact stories, references, marketing materials, webinars, reports, as needed.
  • Expand service offering, across the region to work with a wider range of stakeholders, and sectors to support the S&I GSL’s ambitions across the region and globally to position as the undisputed TIC leader in sustainability.
  • In cooperation with the Operating Group, support the development of the regional strategy and co-ordination and delivery of detailed roadmaps (demonstration of growth in sales).
  • Create the necessary governance to drive the communication, implementation of the detailed roadmap and action plan,
  • campaigns and strategies, strategic tenders, managed via SFDC and sharepoint.
  • Govern high level relationships, meet key stakeholders, particularly in client HO to develop sustainability leads.

 

 

Your Experience & Skills :

 

  • Leader who understands the full range of sustainability services from strategic management consultancy, to net zero carbon, to social value, and ESG assurance aligned to customer needs of the market.
  • Proven ability and experience to operate effectively at senior management and C-executive levels.
  • Influencer and collaborator who is very comfortable operating within an international matrix structure.
  • Demonstrated success in developing entrepreneurial strategies and meeting organisational growth goals.
  • Solid commercial skills enabling growth from existing services & capabilities.
  • Ensure client demands are translated into new services: identify, pursue, and close strategically meaningful contract opportunities.
  • Proven relationship building, and partnership building, with a network of domestic, regional & global partners.
  • Partner with the local Operating Group to support Commercial efforts and strategic initiatives

 

 

Qualifications Required:

  • ESG/Environmental degree. Masters Degree level preferred in Business or other related topics.
  • English written & spoken. Preference for additional languages.
  • Ability to speak in public.
