A SmartShip Taskforce has been created within the Digital department to support the development and implementation of our Classification service offer Smart.

You will report directly to the SmartShip Taskforce Manager and functionally to the M&O Chief Commercial Officer and interact with our commercial teams, technical and operational departments as well as with our international network, partners, prospects and clients.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be to:

- understand and analyze our clients’ needs and expectations;

- understand and analyze the SmarShip market: competition watch; innovative designs, developments of stakeholders’ solutions and services (Flag and regulation authorities; VSAT actors, shipyards and ship-designers; suppliers of instrumentation, control and monitoring units, software editors and all actors of the digital economy including the developers of data platforms, data science, AI, IoT, etc).;

- participate to the building of our SmartShip strategy;

- identify and define needs for Classification notations Smart and monitor their development roadmap

- participate to the development of our operating models and business procedures for the process of delivery of our Classification notations Smart

- promote and embark the actors of the SmartShip market through Joined Development Projects (JDP) to feed the development of Classification notations Smart

- define and lead the project management and governance of JDPs with our network

- Identify potentials for Pilots projects and coordinate their delivery with our network

- develop marketing materials for our Classification offer Smart

- define and participate to communication campaigns both internally and externally, participate as speaker at marine events and webinars

 

Shaping a world of trust

Graduated from an engineering school/ university (master or equivalent), you have at least 10 years of professional experience mainly in the maritime industry at technical or commercial positions, including a significant experience with Classification Societies.

 

You are recognized for:

- your technical knowledge of ship complex systems and vision on the stakes of the digital transformation in the maritime industry

- your ability to listen to client needs and expectations, your capability to analyze various interests at stake and propose pragmatic and operational solutions

- your communication skills and ability to present efficiently complex matters

- your team spirit and flexibility to work effectively in project mode and in a matrix organization

 

You have strong leadership, you are motivated and resilient.

 

You are fluent in English both spoken and written.

 

You want to be autonomous and build a trusted relationship with your colleagues, clients and partners.
