As part of BV Solutions M&O's strong international development, we are looking for a Risk, Safety & Reliability Engineer to strengthen our team in Paris - La Défense or in Nantes (44).

Within the Risk, Safety, Reliability & Maintenance team, you will be in charge of carrying out different types of risk, safety and reliability studies such as Hazard Identification Analysis (HAZID), Hazard and Operability Analysis (HAZOP), Fire & Explosion Risk Analysis (FERA), Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM).

You will carry out these studies on typical marine & offshore units involving Oil & Gas operations as well as on ships with innovative installations (alternative fuels for example) at different stages of design (project, basic design, detailed engineering, operational phase, etc.).

 

You will also be in charge of:

- carrying out modeling studies to assess the consequences of leaks (fire, explosion, gas dispersion, thermal radiation) with dedicated software (PHAST, Safeti)

- participating in other types of qualitative and/or quantitative risk analysis such as Safety Integrity Level (SIL), Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA), Escape and Evacuation Risk Analysis (EERA), Ship Collision, Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS), etc.

 

Occasional trips abroad shall be foreseen.

Graduated as engineer with a focus on risk, safety and environmental management or process engineering or Merchant Marine Engineer Officer, specialist in mechanics, operational safety or industrial maintenance, you have real expertise from 5 to 7 years in the field of offshore units and/or ships with regards to their operation and their risks.

 

You would like to be an actor/actress in your daily life and build a relationship of trust with your interlocutors.

 

You master computer tools and you demonstrate good editing and interpersonal skills. Mastery of tools to model accident scenarios such as PHAST and Safeti would be a plus. Listening to the needs of your internal and external customers, you enjoy working as a team and adapting to the situations encountered.

Your good level of English allows you to communicate with our network and our customers both spoken and written.
