Express your talents!

Within the design Evaluation Department, you will join the team in charge of the issuance of tonnage certificate on ships and offshore units.

 

Your main missions include:

  • Perform technical calculation to determine the tonnage of any type of new or existing ship in order to issue tonnage certificate according to ITC69, Suez Canal or Panama Canal regulations, being the contact point to our external client (designer, shipyard, owner or manager).
  • Draft the commercial offer and manage the assign files including the follow up off the invoicing.
  • Participate to the overall functioning of the Bureau Veritas plan, approval network (training, rule development…) and more specifically support the BV local plan approval offices on technical matter related to Tonnage to strengthen our client relationship.

With a degree in either BTS Naval Construction or a Professional Bachelor's Degree in Naval Engineering, you have an experience in a similar role.

 

You are proficient in IT tools and have good editorial and relational skills. Listening to the needs of your internal clients, you enjoy working in teams and adapt to the diversity of situations encountered.

 

Your excellent level of English allows you to ensure communication with our network both orally and in writing.
