Energy Marshal (m/f/d)

 

YOUR Mission:

  • Provide an oversight and control of Hazardous Energy in accordance with DIV01 standards and applicable local legislation
  • Ensure effective and safe management of the Energy Isolation Program through comprehensive assurance of all stakeholders
  • Verify General Contractor processes and on-site practices for strict compliance with safety specifications (NFPA70E 2018) and coordinate with Operations to minimize business interruptions
  • Plan and coordinate Energy Isolation activities for construction and commissioning across multiple campus projects (Level 1, 2 & 3 HRA Planning)
  • Conduct regular audits of General Contractor Permit-to-Work systems and LOTO procedures for compliance with industry standards (Level 2 & 3 HRA Planning)
  • Coordinate multiple parallel Energy Isolation activities across campus and support implementation of energy isolation standards
  • Manage non-standard situations including LOTO device removal, cable strikes, and accident investigations

 

YOUR SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent approved qualifications
  • Multi-years' experience in MV switching and DC construction and commissioning standards and practices
  • Deep expertise in LOTO systems and energy isolation procedures
  • Extensive knowledge of managing multiple energy sources in Data Centres
  • Proven ability to manage and interact with teams, implement improvements and drive compliance
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to explain complex technical solutions to engineers and non-engineers
  • Strong auditing capability: verify on-site practices against written standards as part of assurance role
  • Fluent in German and English (strong verbal and written communication)
