Energy Marshal (m/f/d)

Limited Contract: 36 Months

YOUR Mission

• Hazardous Energy Oversight: Responsible for oversight and control of hazardous energy in accordance with applicable standards, specifications, and local legislation on data centre construction projects
• Energy Isolation Assurance: Ensure the project Energy Isolation Program is effectively and safely managed by all parties involved
• Compliance Verification & Coordination: Verify General Contractor processes and on-site practices for energy isolation activities comply with safety standards (e.g., NFPA70E 2018), coordinate with site operations to minimize business interruptions
• Planning & Implementation: Coordinate and plan energy isolation activities related to construction and commissioning across data centre projects
• Procedural Compliance Auditing: Review and audit General Contractor energy isolation procedures, including permit-to-work systems and LOTO procedures, for compliance with industry standards
• Risk Management: Manage non-standard situations including removal of LOTO devices, cable strike incidents, and accident investigations
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with General Contractor and subcontractors on implementation of energy isolation procedures and standards

YOUR SKILLS

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent approved qualifications
• Multi-years' experience in MV switching and DC construction and commissioning standards
• Deep expertise in LOTO systems and energy isolation procedures
• Extensive knowledge of managing multiple energy sources in Data Centres
• Proven ability to manage and interact with teams, implement improvements and drive compliance
• Excellent communication skills: ability to explain complex technical solutions to engineers and non-engineers
• Strong auditing capability: verify on-site practices against written standards as part of assurance role
• Fluent in German and English (strong verbal and written communication)
