Environmental Engineer - Fuel transition (m/f/d)

BV Solutions Marine & Offshore is operating in the naval, offshore and MRE industry on an international scale. Our company provides engineering services, inspection and audit services, site monitoring, and project support. Our customers are shipowners and shipyards, oil companies and offshore engineering companies. 

 

What will you do? 

In your work as a Environmental Engineer for North & Central Europe, you will be working at the intersection of shipping and the environment. How does this translate to your daily work? Very specifically. Your work focuses on alternative fuels transition :

- Work with shipping companies, green fuel project developers, technology providers, and various stakeholders. Maintain close relationships to enhance project collaboration and find mutually beneficial partnerships.

- Keep abreast of the latest trends, innovations and regulations in the alternative fuels sector. 

- Attend conferences, participate in industry forums and build a strong network within the alternative fuels community.

- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners

 

Who are you?

You are ambitious and proactive; we have a young team that would like to take on more environmental responsibilities and we would like you to join them. For this role, an eagerness to learn is essential: in order to provide our clients with the best possible service, you must be willing to delve into complex regulations and follow developments closely. In addition, you have: 

- Completed education in a technical field

- Knowledge of complex maritime environmental regulations and developments in the maritime sector is an advantage

- Several years of relevant experience is a plus, but starters are also more than welcome

- You have a good command of the German and English language orally and in writing
