The 7layers GmbH offers testing and certification services as well as engineering services for radio products. We support our customers with a range of services and tools to ensure the conformity, quality and safety of telecommunications and complex radio products. The 7layers Group was founded in Ratingen in 1999 and has been part of the Bureau Veritas Group since 2013, a leading global provider of inspection, classification and certification services with around 75,000 employees worldwide and a turnover of € 4.6 billion.

7layers is part of the CPS (Consumer Product Services) / Technology division of Bureau Veritas with a focus on Smart & Wireless devices with 3 locations in Germany.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering or information technology or similar training
  • Expertise in the field of testing and certification services for radio products, legal market access requirements, cyber security
  • Several years of professional and management experience in technical sales
  • Team player with strong leadership skills
  • Good technical knowledge and good commercial understanding
  • Keen perception and constant willingness to learn
  • Passion for sales and a strong customer focus
  • Close cooperation with sales colleagues in the international sales organization in looking after international key accounts
  • Very good written and spoken English skills
  • Good PC skills (MS Office package, Salesforce would be an advantage).

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As a sales manager (m/f/d) you are responsible for the development and commercial success of the technology division
  • You are responsible for market observation, sales and budget planning, the development of sales concepts and sales measures
  • You lead an experienced and committed sales team (6+) and drive the expansion of the existing customer business as well as the acquisition of new customers
  • You are responsible for forecasting and pipeline management
  • You actively acquire and manage important key accounts. You maintain close contacts with key stakeholders
