We are presently seeking to hire competent profiles for the position of “Calibration Technical Manager” , based and working from our office in Metamorfosi, Athens, Greece.
Job Purpose
The job incumbent will be to manage the calibration activities as required to maintain regulatory compliance, including but not limited to maintaining a master calibration list, calibration schedules, and control of supporting calibration documentation and ensure adherence to all related SOP's. As a Calibration Technical Manager you will be reporting directly to District Manager of Fuels.
Responsibilities:
- Review customer verification requests, offers and contracts
- Responsible for the Technical Resolution of Certificates
- Evaluation and approval of suppliers and collaborating calibration laboratories in collaboration with the Quality Manager
- You will maintain and improve the technical procedures at the lab, while developing new procedures to enable the company to calibrate additional instruments and broaden the scope of the laboratory’s services.
- Technical assessment of the staff of the Calibration Laboratory
- Team management, development & training
- Customer development & management
- Responsibility for observing the necessary environmental conditions, safety conditions and the suitability of the equipment, when performing calibration work
Minimum requirements of the profile:
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical school
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in team management
- Professional experience in testing and calibration/calibration of measuring equipment
- Communication & Organization skills
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025 or other standards
- Advanced user of Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Advanced user of Visual basic or other equivalent programming language
- General knowledge of 3D modelling and point cloud data
- Proficient experience on Infinitesimal Calculus and Analysis
- Fluent in Greek & English language both oral and written
